Journey Into The Desert

New schedule

When people think about a desert many thoughts or images will enter their minds

depending on where they’re at in life. Some may feel dryness, loneliness, or desperation. Some may feel it’s an escape from the daily routine, an adventure or exploration!

Biblically, a desert experience can be a retreat from life, a time of evaluating or testing your faith, perhaps to get a handle on where you’re at in life right now. Or simply to be with God for a while.

All are welcome!

New Schedule!

Meets on Wednesdays in the St. Gabriel Room at church.

Two Topics each week.

First session begins at 5:00 p.m., Second session at 6:00 p.m.

Come for one or all sessions – each stands alone.

January and February sessions include an overview of Church History, Catholic Morality and a weekly walk through the Seven Sacraments. The Season of Lent will take us on a detailed view of Lenten Customs and Practices, a study of the Creed, the Lord’s Prayer and the Meaning of Holy Week.

Eucharistic Adoration is visiting and spending time with Jesus in the Sacred Host. It is an expression of our love for Jesus who loves us so much that He never wants to leave us. He stays with us day and night in the Blessed Sacrament. Please consider spending 1 hour with Jesus during Adoration on Sunday, January 21 starting at 4:00 p.m. and ending on Monday, January 22 at 6:00 a.m. Come and read the Bible, pray a rosary, or speak to Jesus heart to heart, as one does with a friend. Next to Holy Communion, no act is more pleasing to our Lord.
