Journey Into The Desert

When people think about a desert many thoughts or images will enter their minds

depending on where they’re at in life. Some may feel dryness, loneliness, or desperation. Some may feel it’s an escape from the daily routine, an adventure or exploration!

Biblically a desert experience can be a retreat from life, a time of evaluating or testing your faith, perhaps to get a handle on where you’re at in life right now. Or simply to be with God for a while.

New this fall, we are offering Journey Into The Desert a walk though Catholicism for adults on Wednesday evenings 6:00-7:00 p.m. Bring your ideas, questions and friends. If you are not Catholic and are interested in learning more about the faith - this is the time and place to begin. If you are Catholic but are in need of sacraments - Reconciliation/Confession or Confirmation - this is still the time and place to begin. And if you are a Catholic and would like to hear once again the basic tenets of the faith, this is the place to come.

All are welcome.

Each stand-alone Adult Ed class will run from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Our calendar will follow the Faith Formation calendar so as to offer an easy opportunity for parents to spend some quality time with peers and other parishioners exploring their own faith!
