seminarian collection 2018

Our Seminarians Need Your Help

The Gospel this weekend reveals Jesus’ desire to feed his people and perform a miracle of multiplication.  We can each partake in his work by being generous with our Annual Seminarian Collection: Hope for the Future, Help them Today.  An important letter will arrive in your mailbox this week asking for your help.  Next weekend is the kick off of this annual collection.  Your donation provides tuition, room and board, insurance, a small stipend for our seminarians and will support the Vocation Office’s efforts to call forth more candidates. The total annual cost for our seminarian programs is around $1,000,000.  As friends and followers of Jesus, we support each other.

Thank you

to all of our contributors to the Pave the Way campaign.

Enjoy our new beautiful and safe parking lot!

direct giving

--Why Direct Giving?

Through Direct Giving you can make contributions to St. Agnes Parish via automatic withdrawal from your checking or savings account – just as you may do now with your mortgage, household bills, and other monthly payments.  This is a great way to simplify your giving – and it’s a cost-effective, environmentally-friendly way for the parish to receive your gifts.

--Have more questions about how Direct Giving works?

Click here for answers to common questions about Direct Giving in a printable PDF format. For further questions, call the Parish Office at 920-494-2534.

--Ready to get started?

Prayer Intentions for august 2018

Pope Francis (The Treasure of Families):

That any far-reaching decisions of economists and politicians may protect the family as one of the treasures of humanity.

Bishop Ricken (Couples Celebrating their 50th Anniversary of Marriage and their Families):

That couples in our Diocese celebrating their 50th anniversary of marriage during this Jubilee Year may be blessed in their witness of selfless love and discipleship.

Our Knights of Columbus Council #617 is introducing a program named “Knights on Call” to help you with small household tasks. Changing the batteries in your smoke alarms, carrying water-softening salt, or carrying up patio furniture for example, and other simple tasks which for various reasons may be difficult. If you need our assistance, call 920-366-9809 and ask for Don.

spotlight on evangelization

The Solemnity of Pentecost marks the great gift of the Holy Spirit to those God the Father calls to be his own. Perhaps you can think of someone who longs to have a closer relationship with our Heavenly Father. Can you plant the seeds of hope as you speak of our Father’s loving care, and his everlasting promises

fulfilled in the sending of his son, and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit? Ask about the RCIA inquiry sessions for those who are not baptized, are of other faiths, or are adult Catholics who were not confirmed by contacting Gail at the Parish Office: 494-2534 or
