SACRAMENTS ARE LIKE HOSES. THEY ARE THE CHANNELS OF THE LIVING WATER OF GOD'S GRACE. OUR FAITH IS LIKE OPENING THE FAUCET.
WE CAN OPEN IT A LOT, A LITTLE, OR NOT AT ALL.

sacrament of anointing requests
Fr. Patrick encourages that if you have a loved one who is elderly or sick in a serious way to arrange for them to receive the Sacrament of Anointing. This allows him to plan a visit rather than waiting for an emergency situation in which your loved one may be dying and he may not be available to get there. The Sacrament if Anointing is the same as the Last Rites, the Last Sacrament and in its oldest form, Extreme Unction.
